Which opening dp you like best?
1:
The little girl opened the door of her house and stepped out into the world. It is dark and grey outside, to early for her to be awake.
Her father's taillings vanished into the distance and she stood on the porch, staring up at the mountain with the shrine.
2:
Sometimes the world gives you chances, and sometimes the chances run out.
So if you want to love someone, or talk to someone, or take a chance or kiss a cheek or run through the rain, take it.
Becuase the world doesn't give out chances when you want them. It gives out chances when it chooses, and it's up to you to take them or not.
So love, talk, remember, say hello, tell the truth, as best you can. It doesn't have to be perfect. You just have to try.
And when it works, it can be the best thing in the world, and open up lives you never could have imagined, and you will look back wondering how many beautful chances you missed, and how lucky you are that you took one.*
3:
The girl was half Japanese. She stood about four feet tall, and she was four years old, and she had a bob haircut that was getting a bit too long.
She had a smooth, strong face that looked somewhat noble. She rarely got sick, though lately her stomach hurt in the mornings and she liked to stay in bed.
She was cute but not beautiful, though one felt looking at her that she would grow into her beauty in time.
What she mostly had was a lot of energy, a loud voice, and a good if confused heart.

On this particualr morning she slid ipen the door to the house at an early hour. By early I mean six a.m., which was before sun rise and too early for a child to go out alone.
Nevertheless, the door slid open, and there was a pause, and then the door slid closed again. And, like magic, the little girl stood on the porch.
